Landlady - 1

The Landlady was Jack Craig's neighbor and second murder victim in the episode "Easel Kill Ya".

Early Life[]

She was a chain-smoker and also an alcoholic who proposed to Jack (himself an ex-alcoholic) to drink with her and to help to lower her child's old things into the basement before selling the belongings to collect money owed to her for the rent. She then bemoaned to Jack, complaining that she was the one who had to do all the heavy lifting, fearing that she could trip, fall down and possibly break her neck. Unimpressed with her verbal abuse, Jack then sarcastically asked the Landlady if she "needed some help".

Fate[]

Ironically, the staircase has slippery walking down into it and falls down flights of stairs (though it's hinted that Jack may have intentionally pushed her down those stairs). Battered from falling down the flights of stairs, she then lands on something sharp and finds herself impaled in the stomach by a pair of pruning shears. As she lays presumably dead, Jack takes photos of the dead body and collects her blood that he mixed with paint for the pigmentation of his next portrait. The Landlay then startles Jack, revealing herself to be not quite dead yet but still alive. Almost dead, she tried to strangle the artist, who photographed her agonizing death and suffering, demonstrating that he becomes totally insane.

Behind the Scenes[]

  • She was portrayed by Nancy Fish.
